1. Product Overview
Airstone combined refrigerated air dryer is a multi-functional industrial air purification solution, replacing traditional discrete dryers, filters and oil removers. It is factory pre-assembled into one compact unit, integrating drying system, four-stage precision filtration, dedicated oil removal device and automatic drainage system.
Adopting low-temperature condensation drying and graded precision filtration, it delivers stable 2–5°C pressure dew point clean air. It removes moisture, oil mist and particles thoroughly, avoiding pneumatic faults and production defects, ideal for standardized, energy-saving and space-saving industrial air stations.
2. Working Principle
The unit applies a two-step progressive purification: bulk water and oil removal via refrigeration drying first, followed by fine oil and dust purification, delivering higher efficiency and lower filter load than split systems.
2.1 Refrigeration & Condensation Drying Stage
Hot humid compressed air is pre-cooled via heat exchanger for energy saving, then chilled to 2–5°C in the evaporator. Water vapor and emulsified oil fully condense and separate.
The integrated air-water-oil separator removes over 95% of liquid water and heavy oil via automatic drainage. Cold dry air is reheated to prevent pipeline condensation, stabilizing air quality and extending filter service life.
2.2 Four-stage Filtration & Deep Oil Removal Stage
Dried air undergoes gradient fine purification for ultra-clean output:
Step 1 — Independent Oil Remover: Eliminates high-concentration oil mist and emulsified oil, preventing filter saturation under heavy-oil conditions.
Step 2 — Primary Pre-filter: Blocks large particles, rust and bulk water to protect precision filter elements.
Step 3 — Secondary Water Separator: Captures micro mist and residual moisture for full dryness.
Step 4 — Tertiary Precision Oil Filter: Adsorbs fine oil mist to minimize residual oil content.
Step 5 — Final Ultra-precision Post-filter: Removes micron dust and gaseous oil vapor, deliveringdry, oil-free and particle-free compressed air.
